Hi,

I don't understand, why some fixes are not available in this release. Especially compiler warnings, and replacement of deprecated methods.

Regards,

Re: ANNOUNCE: thunar 1.8.5 released

Romain B
Hi,

Yes, 1.8.5 is kinda 'broken'. It has been fixed in
https://git.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/commit/?h=xfce-4.14&id=fe9eec8d923d318ab49044724334370bfbbb06d3 .
A new release (1.8.6) will be done today.

Sorry !

Because I overlooked to cherry-pick some fixes from master.

Seems like we anyhow need a thunar 1.8.6 to fix said seg.fault which
seems to happen for some of us when built with --disable-debug

Will see if I can add the compiler warning fixes.

Regarding replacing deprectaed methods, IMO should not be cherry-picked
into the 4.14 branch which should only get bugfixes. (Which commit do
you refer to? Dont see anything related)

Cheers,

Alex
